I don’t know what it is about kids and confined spaces. My son loves to crawl into any area that’s just big enough to hold him. Whether it’s under the beds or inside a simple couch cushion fort, he’s happiest when he’s snug in a little space of his own.
The milk jug igloo has to be one of the coolest projects I’ve seen in a while. It looks easy enough, though time consuming, of course. You can build it by yourself, but, unless you are a voracious, unstoppable milk drinking machine, you’ll probably need a lot of friends to help by contributing their used (and washed) gallon milk containers.
Just how many jugs you’ll need depends on how large or small you want the igloo to be. In the video below, they use around 450 containers to create a structure big enough to hold several kids at once.
